Tashigi was split in half last episode. He feels humiliated that she is still alive and tells Law to kill her. She says she has no right to tell him when or how he can die and tries to attack him with her broken sword. She’s missing and Law prepares to cut her into more pieces. Fortunately, Smoker intervenes and engages in a fight with Law. The beaten centaurs in Luffy’s group talk about how they underestimated the Straw Hats and took Brownbeard with them. As they ponder this, Luffy, Zoro, Brook, Robin, and Usopp follow Brownbeard to the mysterious building that Brook saw. In the lab, the guy tells the mysterious airman that Law and Smoker had a fight and that the kids ran off with Namie’s group and that Smoker saw the kids.
Smoker became very angry, but knew that if he tried to kill Smoker, the Marines would think something was up. Just then, the harpy that Usopp saw, Monet, informs the smoke man that the pirates they captured were the Straw Hats and that Luffy’s group had defeated Vegapunk’s dragon and the centaurs and were on their way to the facility. The Smoker eventually decides to kill the Straw Hats and G-5. Although hazmat warns him that the marines will be on the lookout, the smoke men say that they will have to suppress things on the island from now on. He then tells Monet to call a man named Joker. Back with Sanji’s group, the kids begin to realize that Nami, Sanji, Chopper, and Franky have switched bodies. They are also getting cold. Sanji states that he doesn’t care about anyone anymore and asks if anyone has a camera so he can take a picture of himself in Nami’s body. When the kid falls down and complains that it’s cold, Franky starts saying that it was a bad idea to bring the kids when they didn’t have a plan.
Back at the facility’s main entrance, Smoker and Law are still fighting as G-5 watches them and regroups outside of Law’s bubble. As the fight continues, the G-5 try to figure out why Law was fighting against them even though he was a Shichibukai. Tashigi tries to fight and is stopped by G-5. She then reflects on what Smoker told her two years ago, “Pirates will be pirates.” Smoker and Law close in on the fight and fight so fiercely that Law’s kickbacks cut through everything in his path. Smoker then starts asking him why he was on the island, but Law doesn’t say anything. Back at Tashigi, she begins to remember what Smoker said after the incident in the Enies lobby. He remembers him saying that they had to be promoted and that he would kick the Straw Hats’ ass in the New World.
In the fight, Smoker tells Law that he never trusted the Shichibukai, and as Smoker lunges at him, Law quietly says to himself, “Maybe it’s the right thing to do,” and starts raising stone spikes from the ground towards Smoker. get him Although Smoker manages to dodge most of them, Law gets up from under him and Smoker gets stabbed. When he lets go of his nervousness, Smoker asks again why Law was on the island and the two start arguing again. Law finally answers the question of why the G-5 were here. Law pushes Smoker back and Smoker tries to stab Law, but instead goes through a stone spike that Law picked up from the ground. While hiding from the attack, Law told Smoker that he couldn’t see a few things from his current position and stabbed his heart. Law takes the heart and his sword and says he doesn’t have to tell Smoker. With his heart outside his body, Smoker collapses.
