Koza is shot by Baroque Works agents who have infiltrated the Royal Guard, and as he collapses, he tries to tell the Rebel Army not to fight. The Royal Guards engage the soldier who shot the Goat, but as the Goat tries to speak to the rebel army again, a sandstorm sweeps through the palace, obscuring the battlefield and allowing the Baroque Works agents who have infiltrated both sides to fire more missiles at the rebel army and Royal Guard, causing a clash between them.

Vivi and Koza try to stop the fight, but their voices are drowned out by the fighting in the Palace Square. At the palace, Chaka succumbs to his injuries and collapses, and King Cobra tells Vivi to run, which she refuses, pointing out that the Crocodile was the cause of the sandstorm and that she still wanted to stop the bomb set to go off in fifteen minutes. , to at least save some of the fighters on the Palace Square.

The crocodile then grabs Vivi by the neck and tells her that she is too weak to have such ardent ideals, and she reminds him that as the princess of the land, she will never give in or give up on him. Crocodile reminds Vivi that Rebel Army reinforcements are still arriving and will come within range of the blast, then hangs her over a cliff by her neck while criticizing her for her decision not to tell the soldiers about the bomb, pointing out that despite the panic, at least a few thousand would survive . The crocodile notes that Vivi has worked as a spy for two years in a baroque piece, then throws her off a cliff.

In the distance Luffy arrives and flies at Pell to Crocodile’s shock. They catch Vivi before she hits the ground and she tells them about the bomb that is about to go off. At Palace Square, Luffy and Vivi meet up with Chopper, Sanji, and Usopp, as well as Zoro, who was carrying Nami. Apologizing for losing to Crocodile and promising not to lose again, Luffy tells them to take care of other business as he heads towards the palace to fight Crocodile.

Crocodile tries to avoid Luffy’s hit, but gets punched in the face, causing him to bleed slightly. Before he could recover, Luffy attacks him again and Crocodile begins to realize that Luffy has exposed his weakness. Luffy explains that he found his weakness after their first fight when the water he got from Yuba spilled onto the Crocodile and stopped him from turning into sand.
