Summary:
The Baroque Works plan begins to take effect, causing the Number Agents to gather to meet Mr. 0. Meanwhile, the crew learns that the rebel army has moved out of Yuba and headed for Kateroi, and the rebel leader Koza is determined to fight the king.
Episode 103 opens with Luffy looking at a piece of paper that Ace gave him. He wonders what it is and why Ace gave it to him. The rest of the crew also looks at it and also concludes that it is just a piece of paper. Because it is so important to Luffy, Nami sews it onto the inside of his hat. Vivi looks ahead and tells the rest of the crew that Yuba is just behind a distant rock.
Meanwhile, in the Crocodile Den, he and Miss Whole Sunday discuss their plan. Miss All Sunday says that all preparations are in place and they can complete the plan within two days. Crocodile is delighted and tells her that the other agents are coming from the Spider Cafe to meet them.
At the Spider Cafe, agents begin to gather. The only one left is Mr. 1. The other agents are getting impatient and just want to leave. Mr. 2 and his men put on a dance show, but suddenly Mr. 1 breaks through the wall and knocks down one of Mr. 2’s men. Mr. 2 and Mr. 1 start fighting because Mr. 2 is angry that he knocked one of his men down like that. Miss Doublefinger puts an end to it quickly. He says they got a message to go to Rainbase and meet the boss. Everyone gets into the carriage, which drives off.
Luffy and his group finally reach Yuba. A sandstorm destroys it. After they stop, they can see that it is deserted. Yuba is not the oasis they expected. The only one left is the founder Yuba, and he finds out that the rebel army has relocated to Kateroi. When Luffy calls Vivi, the old man recognizes her. He runs up to her and she realizes that he is Toto from his youth. His son is the leader of the rebel army. It is clear that he is very loyal to the crown and feels terrible that his son is leading the revolution.
Then there is a flashback of Vivi and his son playing together when they were younger. Tasked with founding a new town called Yuba, Son and Vivi part ways. Vivi and Toto have a strong connection.
Since Vivi and Toto know each other, the crew decides to stay the night in Yuba. This shares stories of how great Yuba was three years ago during the drought. They all fall asleep, but only in the morning do they decide to leave.
