In Mary Geoise, Five Elder Saint Topman Warcury yells at the Marine and tells him to reprint the paper and change the picture of Luffy’s reward and remove the D. from his name. The Marine tells him that the photo was sent by Agent CP0 Guernica. Also says they can’t contact the printing company. When the elder tells him to stop distributing the paper, Morgans laughs and says it’s up to him to spread the news “throughout the world”. He also says that Cipher Pol’s transmission from Wano Country cut off right after they ran into the Big Mom Pirates ship.
As a result, news of the defeats of Big Mom and Kaido spread around the world and the three responsible for it; Monkey D. Luffy, Eustass “Captain” Kid and Trafalgar D. Water Law received huge rewards as a result: Beli 3,000,000,000 each! A chef can be seen preparing food for a large party in a castle in the Flower Capital. Jinbe is the only person there, drinking sake. Luffy, Yamato, and Chopper are having fun at a party and eating while Brook has a concert and plays “Moon Princess”, a song that Kozuki Hiyori played on the shamisen. Meanwhile, in the Tenguyama subcastle, Hitetsu finds Robin looking around. She asks why his collection of Kokeshi dolls is in the basement, and he reveals that it was once his secret hobby room before it became his prison, as he also has the Poneglyph gift. Robin asks what he means because she thought he was a swordsman, to which he admits that he has a talent for blacksmithing, but he just found it as a hobby because he was so tired of ruling. That’s when he takes off his mask and reveals that he is actually former Shogun Kozuki Sukiyaki!
Shocked, Robin asks if Momonosuke knows he’s still alive, to which Sukiyaki replies that he doesn’t and that he doesn’t plan to tell him out of shame for letting the country overtake Orochi, though Sukiyaki suspects that his members had probably already deduced his identity. He says that when he stepped out and saw the state of Wano, he planned to commit seppuku then and there, but Robin interrupted him by telling him that the Poneglyph in the Kingdom of Arabasta revealed that the ancient weapon, Pluton, rested in Wano. Country and she asks him if it really is. Sukiyaki confirms and says it’s actually in Wano.
In the former prison mine in Udon, Admiral Ryokugyu, whose real name is “Aramaki”, has conquered all the beast pirates imprisoned there, including the king and queen. He is shown to have the ability to turn his fingers into roots, which he uses to drain fluids from all and other fluids around him. Ryokugyu intercepts the transmission and warns the marines to bring the warship to Wano and also not to tell Sakazuki what he’s doing before hanging up. He then reveals that he finds Sakazuki’s extreme methods cool and wants his approval, which he thinks he can get by bringing him Luffy’s head.
Speaking of which, Luffy congratulates the Ninja-Samurai-Pirate-Nink-Samurai Alliance, the wards, the yakuza, and all of Wano on their outstanding victory. As Momonosuke watches, he remembers Luffy telling him not to tell people who he is because he doesn’t want to be called a “hero”. Just then, Kid comes in and announces his intention to kill Luffy, but Luffy quickly grabs him and everyone starts partying.
After a while, however, Kid breaks out of Luffy’s grip when he tells him that he doesn’t care about the party at all and simply came to kill him, even though he tells him that the outside world has announced the names of the new emperors, who are “…Red” Shanks, “Chernomous” Teach, Luffy himself, and in a surprise twist, “Jester the Clown” Buggy!
As for Ryokugyu, he approaches the capital while listening to the festivities, but says he’s not in a festive mood considering the state the entire world is in right now.
