 Summary:

As they discuss their assassination plan in more detail, Jango reveals that Klahadore is actually a false name and is actually the previous Black Cat Pirates captain who faked his death, Kuro. In a hasty attempt to stop them, Luffy reveals their presence and tells them to leave Kaya alone. Jango responds by putting Luffy to sleep using his hypnotism, only for Luffy to lean forward and fall off the cliff. Thinking he’s dead, Kuro ignores Usopp’s presence because he’s a well-known liar and the chances of anyone believing him are zero. Usopp rushes to the village and tries his best to warn of the coming attack, only for the villages to think it’s another one of his stories. The scene changes to the Black Cat pirate ship where Kuro is preparing his men, and Luffy is revealed to be sleeping.
Klahadore asks Jango not to mention the word “murder” and to stop calling him Captain Kuro. Usopp and Luffy spy on the pair and Usopp suddenly remembers the name “Captain Kuro”. Usopp recalls that he was a feared pirate who raided many cities and was finally killed three years ago after being captured by marines.
Jango finds this amusing, his captain stated that he was bored with the pirate life, made him a captain and secretly settled in the village, but if there is a reward, he is happy to do whatever Kuro asks of him. According to Kuro, all Jango has to do is hypnotize Kaya into signing the will so she rightfully owns the mansion since “Klahadore” is not a family member and therefore cannot otherwise inherit her property. Once the task is completed, he must kill her without making it look like she was murdered. Jango taunts his former captain, saying that if it were him, he’d just raid the mansion and take the wealth, but Kuro reminds him that he’d turn him into a pirate again. Jango once again mocks him for asking for a quiet life when he plans to kill everyone to get Kaya’s money, but Kuro says that he didn’t expect some things like the death of Kaya’s parents when they died unexpectedly in an accident.
As Usopp slowly comes to terms with what he is hearing, he has to contend with Luffy who has no idea what is going on. While dealing with thoughts related to the issue at hand, Luffy stands up and yells at the pair below. While Usopp is horrified by what Luffy has done, Usopp grabs him to pull him down before he sees him, but Kuro and Jango look at the cliff and see the pair.
Suddenly, Jango picks up the ring and begins to hypnotize the pair while Usopp looks away in time, Luffy having no idea about the ring. As Luffy fell asleep, as did Jango, Usopp yells at Luffy, but Luffy seemingly falls off a cliff to his death. As Usopp yells about killing Luffy, Jango asks if Usopp should be killed as well, but Kuro just says, even as he tells the village that no one will believe what Usopp hears due to Usopp’s reputation as a liar.
As he rushes to the village, Nami, Zoro, and the other Usopp Pirates pass by. When Usopp enters the village and warns them, he thinks it’s a prank again and is angry that he used the joke twice in one day. They tell him that they have to punish him for lying this time because his joke went too far and that he is untrustworthy, they tell him that they would believe him if he was a trustworthy man like Klahadore.
Back on the coast, Kuro went to say goodbye to his men after three years away from them and to arrange the plan in the morning. At the mansion, Kaya asks after Klahadore, another servant tells her that he went to another city. Back on the shore at the bottom of the cliff, Luffy is fast asleep.
