Summary:
Luffy eventually collapses due to his injuries and the poison coursing through his body as Crocodile mocks him. Crocodile then tells him that if he (Luffy) can’t defeat him, then everything Luffy has been through until now will be for naught. Crocodile then criticizes Luffy, calling him a little pirate who just started sailing, and mocks him further.
At the clock tower, Zoro shoots Chopper and Vivi up while Mr. 7 and Miss Father’s Day fire their guns at Zoro, further injuring the swordsmen. Chopper is shown in his Heavy Point throwing Vivi towards the tower with all his might and transforming back into his Brain Point to avoid Mr. 7 and Miss Father’s Day in the air. With 3 seconds left, Vivi, flying towards the Baroque Works agents, uses her Kujakki String Slasher Runback to dodge the sniper duo’s attack and knock them off the clock tower.
With one second left, Vivi desperately tries to blow the fuse as Crocodile screams that it’s over. While waiting for Alubarna’s fate, a flashback is shown of several children asking young Vivi to play with them. A member of the royal army asks Chaka to do something with the kids, while Pell tells Vivi to have fun as they head to the secret base. Later, Chaka asks Pell where Vivi went, but Pell replies that it’s a secret. However, Chaka realizes that she headed to the clock tower and comments that the weather is nice.
Back in real time, Usopp asks if they managed to stop the explosion as the Rebels and Kings continue to fight. It was revealed that Vivi was able to break the fuse in time with her Peacock Slashers. However, the ticking sound is still heard and Crocodile explains to Cobra that the plan is something that covers all possible scenarios, revealing that the bomb is actually a timer to explode on its own (a few seconds apart), Crocodile when I set it up for in case something goes wrong with the manual fuse. Confirming this, Vivi relays this information to the confused Straw Pirates.
