 Summary:

Unaware of Oars’ constant interference with the ship outside, Luffy wonders what is causing the entire island to shake. After arriving at Gecko Moria’s location, the Warlord of the Sea tells Luffy that it is most likely his zombies causing the crash, if not the strong current. Moria asks Luffy why he came here, to which he demands back the shadows of the Straw Hats, Brook, and the old man the crew met earlier. Moria asks how Luffy plans to get them back and he replies that he will beat Moria. The Warlord of the Sea explains that even if Luffy defeated him, the zombies would retain their shadows. He further explains that his power allows him to command shadows and that the only way to make a shadow return to its former host is if he commands it. Moria tells Luffy that he’s too weak to force him to do that, prompting Luffy to attempt a “Gomu Gomu no Pistol” attack on him. An arm shadow appears to block the blow, introducing Moria as his shadow clone, “Doppelman”. As Luffy wonders what kind of clone it is, Moria explains that in the past he was consumed by a desire for his own power. Since then, he has discovered the value of powerful subordinates and plans to become a pirate king solely by using other people’s abilities. As Luffy dodges an attack from Doppelman, he angrily retorts that he is the one who will be the Pirate King. Moria notes that Luffy’s shadow said the same thing and it seems that his will manifested itself in his shadow quite strongly as expected. It’s only a matter of time though, because once the shadow loses all memories of being Luffy, it will become completely obedient to Moria. Luffy again demands that Moria return his shadow, delivering a powerful neck kick to Doppelman, followed up with “Gomu Gomu no Gatling Gun”. The attack appears to have broken off pieces of Doppelman; but Moria uses “Brick Bat”, which causes the pieces of shadow to turn into small bats that absorb the impact of Luffy’s blows. When Luffy realizes he can’t hit the real Moria, the bats swarm him as the Warlord of the Sea mocks his efforts. Luffy is covered and bitten in multiple places before the bats finally retreat and reform Doppelman. Moria tells Luffy that when young people like him underestimate the Grand Line, it will only end in embarrassment. Luffy jumps over the railing and Moria and Doppelman are confused. Luffy then reaches out to grab onto the ledge and uses “Gomu Gomu no Stamp” to kick Moria through the ground below. After Moria expresses how much the technique hurts, Luffy mocks the sea warrior for saying he can’t be touched.
At Absalom and Nami’s cathedral wedding, Sanji turns into the room, skips and sings a song. The zombie holding Nami is confused and Sanji lands a powerful kick to send him flying. When Sanji catches Nami’s falling body, he is stunned by her beauty, at first not recognizing her, believing that she is rescuing a goddess. Absalom appears and confirms that Sanji is one of the Straw Hat Pirates, but stops mid-sentence as he is also struck by Nami’s beauty. The two men briefly discuss their amazement at Nami’s goddess-like appearance, much to the confusion of the watching zombies. Absalom finds himself agreeing with his enemy and shoots Sanji. Sanji appears behind Absalom with Nami still in his arms, very upset that Absalom used an attack with so much collateral damage while a lady is present. Absalom praises Sanji for avoiding the attack, but notes that he no longer has a shadow. Remembering his earlier battle with the Inuppe and the Inuppe’s fascination with Nami, Absalom realizes that the Inuppe must have Sanji’s shadow. As Sanji puts Nami on the ground, Absalom explains his assessment of Inuppe’s power, deeming him unworthy to be a zombie general. Absalom is therefore surprised that someone of Sanji’s level would think they could challenge him as one of Thriller Bark’s “Mysterious Four”. Sanji doesn’t seem to be listening at all as he once again mistakes Nami for a celestial figure due to her beauty. Absalom explains that his General Zombies were defeated by Luffy’s zombies, he hasn’t kissed his bride yet, and he doesn’t have time for a Sanji-level henchman. However, before he can finish his sentence, Sanji delivers a devastating kick to the face that sends him flying across the room. The zombies can’t believe their eyes and reveal that Absalom weighs over three hundred kilograms. Taking a drag from his cigarette, Sanji asks Absalom if he is the “Invisible Man” that Usopp mentioned to him earlier. Absalom, in utter shock at Sanji’s strength, thinks that the increased power Hogback has expanded his body with should not be blown away so easily. He raises his hands to fire at Sanji, but Sanji stands on them, deflecting the blasts in opposite directions. Sanji then lands an extremely powerful kicking combo on Absalom: “Basse Cote”, “Longe”, “Tendron”, “Flanchet”, “Quasi”, “Queue” and “Cuisseau”, all while berating him for peeking inside. to Robin and Nami in their baths. Absalom wonders how a “subordinate” can be so powerful when he endures further punishments and threats from Sanji. Sanji ends by daring him to talk about his marriage to Nami again while he is present. Absalom tries to retreat invisibly, but Sanji uses Usopp’s “Special Salt Balls” and extinguishes him with “Veau Shot”. Absalom is further confused by Sanji’s power when he remembers not seeing the reward poster for him. Sanji says that Absalom may be irritated, but he himself is about to explode in anger. The onlooker zombie looks on in awe, as does his body. Sanji stands with an aura of flames around him and says that it’s unfortunate that there is also another connection between the two of them.
