Summary:
The people who attacked Zoro reveal themselves to be the dreaded “Franky Family”, though they are no match for Zoro. Luffy has their gold exchanged for cash. They then meet a man who resembles Usopp, the leader of the Galley-La Company’s carpentry job, Kaku. Two of the trunks of money are stolen by the Franky Family while Luffy was talking to Iceburg.
The men who raided the ship turn out to be a group of bounty hunters known as the Franky Family. Zoro easily defeats the bounty hunters using the Nitoryu Sai Kuru move.
At the gold exchange, the Straw Hats exchange their Skypie gold for money. Surprised at how much gold was exchanged, the cashier consults with the owner, who takes them to a VIP room to view the gold. Given the historical value of gold, the appraiser gives 300 million beli. As they leave the gold exchange, they are overheard by Franky’s family.
The Straw Hats return to where the mob was. They decide to look for Iceburg, one of Galley-La’s members. Instead, they meet Kaku, another member of the company, who agrees to help repair the ship. However, to their shock, Kaku jumps from Shipcrafting Island and jumps extremely high into the air.
Meanwhile, Sanji buys some fruit from one of the market vendors. He is told to also visit the fish shop to buy fish, but struggles to navigate the maze-like walkways. He then sees Robin following a masked figure. However, when Sanji follows Robin around the corner, Robin is nowhere to be found.
At the shore where the Going Merry is anchored, Kaku arrives to assess the damage. He accidentally wakes up Zoro, who confronts him.
On Shipbuilding Island, Iceburg and his secretary Kalifa identify the Straw Hats as pirates and discover that three of the seven members are wanted. They initially do not act against the Straw Hats, but after Luffy refers to Iceburg as “that guy”, Kalifa beats up Usopp for disrespecting Iceburg. However, she then kicks Iceburg in the face for warning the Straw Hats of her mood. Luffy shows Iceburg the letter from Kokoro, to which Iceburg tears the letter up, then says that Kaku has already estimated the damage and cost of the repair.
Usopp then realizes that his money has been stolen. The Franky Family members laugh as they run off with their money.
