One Piece Episode 412

Summary:

Luffy looks at Bo Hancock’s back and notes that he has seen what was on it before. Hancock tries to turn him to stone with her powers when he mistakes her Mero Mero no Mi powers for Foxy’s Noro Noro Beam. Luffy tries to escape but is captured by the Kuja pirates and brought to the execution arena. Marguerite confesses that she brought him to the island, and Hancock turns her and her two companions to stone. Enraged by Kujo’s lack of empathy for Marguerite, Luffy knocks out Bacuro, the panther he sent to execute him. Hancock’s two younger sisters, Boa Sandersonia and Boa Marigold, jump into the arena and use their Devil Fruit powers to transform into snake women to fight Luffy.

Sandersonia and Marigold head to Hancock’s spa and see that Luffy is on the island. Marigold covers for Hancock when the secret is revealed. They plan to kill him to keep their secret safe. Hancock then casts Love Love Mellow, making Luffy think of Foxy’s Slow Slow Beams. It is unaffected and will not become a statue. The Gorgon Sisters are surprised that the love beam is ineffective and how Luffy managed to survive for so long.

Hancock fires a Pistol Kiss bullet and hits Luffy. Hancock then orders Kujo to capture Luffy for evaluation. Ran chases after Luffy and demands that he do as she orders. Captain Straw Hat wonders if Hancock can help him get him off the island. He escapes with the Gum-Gum Rocket and flies over the city walls. The pirates hear Kuja’s word and set out to capture him. Nyon fears that the future of the island is at stake.

Aphelandra spots Luffy on the roof and they fire at him. Kikyo desperately tries to kill him as they continue to evade them. He also stops for meat, attracting Nyon’s attention. He stops Luffy running, hoping to look him in the face. The Kuja warriors succeeded in capturing Luffy. Nyona becomes interested.

At the gallows, Luffy is tied up with some snakes. Marguerite fears that he will be executed regardless of the interrogation. Hancock questions why Luffy was on her island. He explains that Kuma sent him here and also wants the ship to leave the island. Kuja thinks he is talking nonsense. Hancock plans to hasten his departure by killing him, but Marguerite knows Luffy isn’t lying. She hopes Hancock will listen to her.

As Luffy was telling the truth, Marguerite believes that Luffy will not cause physical harm to the country. However, Hancock opts for the death penalty for Luffy. Marguerite agrees to allow Luffy access to the city, while Sweet Pea and Aphelandra try to talk their master out of it. Standing up, Hancock walks to the center and decides to let her subject off the hook.

Marguerite hopes that Hancock will forgive her crime and stand up. But Hancock fires Love Love Mellow, turning Aphelandra, Sweet Pea, and Marguerite into statues, scaring Luffy. The young pirate becomes angry with Hancock, believing that he alone is responsible for their actions, and demands that the three girls be returned to normal.

Hancock orders the release of Bacuro the panther and tells Luffy to die a proud warrior. Bacura was the executioner of the summer. Even as the panther is about to attack him, Luffy again demands the recovery of the girls. He punches Bacura, sending him flying into the crowd. Luffy furiously turns to face the Gorgon sisters, saying that turning their own friends to stone is not funny. Hancock claims that she will be forgiven because she is beautiful, receiving a standing ovation from the Kuja crowd, but is then horrified by Luffy’s defiance. He orders Sandersonia and Marigold to personally execute Luffy. Both sisters then turn into large snakes.
