One Piece Episode 1030

Summary:

After Shanks leaves for a trip, Uta does not return to Luffy’s shock. At the same time, Elegia is mysteriously destroyed, seemingly because of Shanks.

Uta sits in the Partys Bar complaining to her father about Luffy’s training methods while Makino thanks her for playing with him. However, Uta replies that he is just protecting Shanks by keeping Luffy from annoying him. Just then, Luffy enters the bar and asks Shanks to allow him to join his party, though Shanks quickly refuses and Luffy becomes enraged. Uta then pushes Luffy out of the bar, saying that they were supposed to be training at sea. Once they leave, Shanks tells Makino that he plans on Foosha Village soon, even if he returns.

Out at sea, the two children rush in the barrels and run to the rock. However, when they arrive, they realize that it is actually the Lord of the Coast and begin to paddle away as fast as they can. Back on land, Luffy tells Uta that she is their local sea monster, and Uta tells him that Shanks would easily defeat her. They start talking about becoming pirates and Uta asks Luffy what his goal is once he becomes one. He reveals that he dreams of traveling the world with Shanks and bringing joy with his singing. Luffy then reveals that his goal is to travel the world, meet different people and try different foods.

Later, as the Red Hair Pirates prepare to leave the island, Shanks brings Luffy from the ship. Uta found him hiding on the ship and declared that if Shanks said no, he was not allowed on board. As the crew leaves, Luffy vows to be on board next time.

Eventually, the Red Hair Pirates will return. When Luffy goes to greet them, everyone refuses to acknowledge him and he decides to go ask Uta what’s going on. However, he soon runs into Shanks, who tells him, to Luffy’s shock, that Uta left the ship to become a singer. He refuses to believe it, saying that Uta will never leave Shanks and that something must have happened. However, Shanks does not respond and Luffy runs away crying.

Some time later, news of the destruction of the Elegy spread worldwide, with 100% mortality reported and Shanks being blamed. As news travels, Garp and Sengoku state that the destruction was linked to Tot Musica and that Shanks has revealed his true nature. He ends his discussion by saying that Roger would be disappointed in him.

Back at Foosha Village, Beckman asks Luffy to forgive Shanks, telling him that there are things people just can’t talk about. However, Luffy just runs out of the mountain thinking about his time with Uta. He is suddenly ambushed by mountain bandits and they beat him continuously until sunset. He is eventually rescued by Beckman, who brings him back to the village. The next day, Luffy enters the Partys Bar and asks to join Shanks’ crew, but is quickly rejected. He sits with the Red Hair Pirates and tells Shanks that he won’t ask what happened because it’s his and Uta’s business. Meanwhile, in Mary Geoise, the five elders discuss Shanks.

Back in the present, Usopp tells Luffy that Uta is doing a live performance, and Nami adds that it’s her first performance. Luffy decides to go and the crew heads to Elegy.

On the island, Uta prepares for a concert and says that a new genesis is beginning
