One Piece Episode 707

Summary:

Law confronts Doflamingo and asks him what he thinks of Luffy and Ds. Doflamingo dismisses the legends surrounding the name as mere superstition. Law then reveals to Doflamingo that he is also D., leading Doflamingo to cause major damage to the roof of the palace.

Elsewhere, Viola oversees all the battles that take place, most of which cause a lot of damage. In Kyros’ battle against Diamante, Diamante causes the earth to shake and Leo and Kabu are on the trail of Princess Mansherry. The Corrida Colosseum fighters are having trouble fighting the Donquijote Pirates officers.

Enraged at Law for being D., Doflamingo approaches and attacks him. Too late, Law uses an Injection Shot on him and impales him with his diaphragm. Law says he came to pull the trigger that Corazon couldn’t on that fateful day.

In the present, when Law confronts Doflamingo, he remembers Rosinante’s declaration of Law’s freedom to Doflamingo before the latter murders him. However, he laments that he will not be truly free until he completes his goal of stopping Doflamingo’s madness. Law creates a “room” around them and throws a pebble behind Doflamingo. In doing so, she asks him what he thinks of Monkey D. Luffy, given that Law learned today that Doflamingo was a World Noble. He then uses “Shambles” to switch places with the rock, teleporting to Doflamingo. He tries to stab him in the back as he continues to ask what he thinks of D. However, Doflamingo creates Haki through his hand and grabs the blade. He says it’s none of Law’s business and drags him forward to cut him with the ropes. He then scoffs at the idea that Luffy, like D, was led there by fate to claim the noble’s head. Although disarmed, Law forms Haki over his hands and forearms to block Doflamingo’s attack, revealing himself to be D as well. This infuriates Doflamingo and the aftermath of his attack cuts off the top of the palace.

Meanwhile, Luffy fights Doflamingo’s Black Knight clone and the controlled Bellamy, who continues to use him as a shield.

On the former Royal Plateau, King Riku asks Viola about the current state of the battle. Determining that the longer the battle goes on, the more damage there will be, she suggests that the battle has three environments: the platform with the royal palace, the Pico statue, and the SMILE factory. Hearing this, Usopp asks Viola how many officers are left. He states that they are paid like this: Senor Pink guards the SMILE factory. Pica is still atop his stone statue. On the top floor of the palace are Doflamingo and Trebol. On the 4th level of the palace is Diamante. At level three, Gladius leads what’s left of the soldiers. Finally, on level 2 are Lao G, Baby 5, Machvise, and Dellinger, who we learn is a half fish man of the fighting fish species.

Viola concludes that many of the remaining fighters are badly wounded and that the final moments of the battle are approaching. At the SMILE Factory, Franky and Senor Pink are still fighting intensely. Senor saved the cat, which their viewers greatly admired. Roronoa Zoro is still fighting Pica. On level three of the plateau, Cavendish fends off Gladio while Robin uses his power to create a staircase from his feet. Cavendish further notes that the attacks from Gladius’ minions are putting him to sleep. On the fourth level of the plateau, Diamante launches an attack that causes the ground to wave like a flag, much to the amazement of Kyros and Rebecca. Inside the royal palace, Leo and Kabu defeat the Quixotic soldiers in an attempt to rescue Princess Mansherry. Outside the royal palace, Sabo helps some citizens while Koala runs off to an unknown destination. On level two of the palace, the officers of the Donquijote family defeat the Coliseum army with relative ease. Back at the Former King’s Platform, Viola made it clear that nothing would change unless Doflamingo was defeated. This leads some citizens to fear that the fate of their country is being left in the hands of pirates as Admiral Fujitora watches on.

At the royal palace, Doflamingo, now upset by the revelation of Law’s true name, brutally attacks him. He mocks Law for believing that fate also brought him there to defeat him. As he writes off Rosinante’s words to Law about the “D” Clan as superstition, Trebol warns him that he is now within range of Law’s attack. However, Doflamingo ignores this and Law stabs him through the diaphragm with an “Injection Shot”. To this, Law tells Doflamingo that Rosinante fully knew that Law could not defeat him just because of his secret name. He goes on to say that “Cora-san” was too kind to pull the trigger on Doflamingo, so he’ll do it himself.
