One Piece Episode 736

Summary:

The Straw Hats reunite after the Battle of Dressros and Kyros disbands the Tontatta army. In Mary Geoise, Sakazuki meets the Elder Five, angered by Doflamingo’s deception earlier that day. He and the Elder Five are then told of Doflamingo’s defeat, shocking them. As news of Doflamingo’s defeat spreads around the world, the people who relied on Doflamingo’s mediation of the Underworld lose their resources, and some become angry with Luffy and Law.

Jewelry Bonney and the alliance of Eustace Kid, Killer, Scratchmen Apoo and Basil Hawkins read the news and the alliance is happy that Luffy and Law are after Kaidou and not their target, Shanks. On the sky island, Urouge is recovering from his injuries when he is approached by a mysterious man.

At Dressrose, Fujitora and Sakazuki fight over the Den Den Mushi due to Fujitora being so quick to tell the world about Doflamingo’s defeat. At sea, Smoker expresses relief that Fujitora got the truth, unlike him during the Crocodile’s defeat. Sakazuki tells Fujitora that he can never enter the naval base until he captures Luffy and Law, to which Fujitora agrees.

The people on Dressros and the neighboring islands who receive the Marine broadcasts are still confused as to how Admiral Fujitora fell to Riku Doldo III. Doldo tells Fujitora to get up and asks if he really wanted the whole world to see this, but the admiral refuses, saying that he let the Straw Hats do everything in the hope that they would succeed. The Marines didn’t do anything about Doflamingo’s Shichibukai status, and Fujitora wants to make it clear that this wasn’t a Marine victory.

Meanwhile, Usopp runs through the streets with Robin and Bartolomeo looking for Luffy. He runs into Zoro, Kin’emon, Kanjur, and Franky, who notice him getting back up, which Usopp states out of excitement at Luffy’s victory. Luffy, Law, Rebecca and Viola are sitting on a nearby roof and she says they should let the Straw Hats know where they are. Elsewhere, Kyros confronts all the Tontattas who participated in the fight against Doflamingo. He thanks them for their work and disbands the army against the Doflamingos before saying hello, causing them to cry tears of joy. Kyros reminds them that they are the guardian deities of Dressrosa and that they still have work to do to make Dressrosa beautiful again. All the Tontatts start cheering and hugging Kyros. Meanwhile, the marines have made it back and the broadcast is interrupted, and Riku tells Tank Lepanto to hide the pirates and the homeless in the palace.

In Mary Geoise, Sakazuki confronts the Elder Five and questions why Doflamingo’s deception had to happen earlier that day, saying that it brought him shame as a fleet admiral. The five elders silenced him, saying that his pride didn’t matter and that they were leaving the situation to Cipher Pol. Noting that the Five Elders are acting like puppets of the World Nobles, Sakazuki angrily brings up Kuzan, stating that his joining the Blackbeard Pirates was a great stain on the Marines. Just then, another marine runs in, reporting that Doflamingo has been defeated and Dressrosa is currently in a state of ruin. Sakazuki and the Elder Five are horrified that Luffy and Law could do such a thing.

As word of Doflamingo’s defeat spreads around the world, the king of one country declares that with this event they no longer had access to weapons and that they would have to surrender. White flags are hoisted and at sea the pirate crew also complain about access to weapons. One pirate decides to go to Dressrosa and retrieve them himself, but is reminded that the Marine Admiral is still there. Another pirate crew is upset that their access to the Devil Fruit has been cut off. Meanwhile, the gang laments that their access to SMILE has been cut off, and angrily stab photos of Luffy and Law in the newspaper. Somewhere at sea, Tsuru talks to the Inspector General of the Marine Corps about Doflamingo’s defeat, and the Inspector General offers her an okaki.

On another island, Jewelry Bonney turns into an old woman and steals a slice of pizza, but immediately turns into a child, causing an angry merchant to overlook her. Bonney reads the news and says she’s glad to be in the same generation as Luffy and Law. On the sky island, Urouge recovers from his injuries as his crewmates tend to him. Some of them rush to him, revealing that someone is coming. Urouge detonates it and says they are on a lonely sky island. Suddenly, the ground begins to shake as large footsteps land on it, and Urouge watches in shock as a giant horned man approaches him. On the Big Mom Pirates ship, Capone Bege notices Luffy and Law’s actions before telling his crewmates that they will get Caesar Clown back at any cost. At the Kid Pirates hideout, the allied pirates Eustass Kid, Killer, Scratchmen Apoo, and Basil Hawkins discuss Law and Luffy’s victory, realizing that Doflamingo is allied with Kaida and that by defeating the former, the alliance is trying to destroy the latter. Killer is happy that the alliances goals are different as their alliance targets Shanks. On Winter Island, some pirates led by Kaido ask X Drake about Doflamingo killing his father. Drake confirms this, but says he doesn’t hold a grudge. The pirates then yell at Kaido about defeating Doflamingo, knowing he would be angry that SMILE production has ended.

On Dressrose, Fujitora argues with Sakazuki about the Den Den Mushi, and the power of their voices causes nearby marines to shake in fear. Sakazuki chides Fujitora for not reporting to him first, but Fujitora replies that Sakazuki would have changed the story somehow. He remembers talking to Smoker on the ship when the Vice Admiral told him about how Luffy shot down Crocodile two years ago, but the World Government took credit for him instead to save face. In the present, a recovering Smoker reads the news and expresses relief to Tashigi that Fujitora was able to do what he couldn’t. The giant children then peek in the door, wanting food and wondering when they will get to Vegapunk, and Tashigi tells them that the trip will take a few more days. At Dressrose, Sakazuki claims that the cloaking was needed to save face for the government, but Fujitora replies that their credibility is non-existent if it can be broken so easily, and the Marines fear Fujitora’s attitude towards the fleet admiral. Sakazuki then orders Fujitora to capture Luffy and Law or he would never be allowed back into the naval base. As a sleeping Luffy is placed on the back of one of Kanjur’s birds, Fujitora replies that this is what he wanted to hear.
