Summary:
The Straw Hat Gladiators, Samurai, and Corrida Colosseum escaped Admiral Fujitora and ran to their ships. Fujitora prepares to crush them with his floating debris, but the citizens of Dressrosa chase after the criminals with the apparent intention of taking down the Straw Hats themselves for Luffy’s kidnapping of Rebecca. However, they really knew where Rebecca was and are doing it as a ruse to stop Fujitora from dropping the debris and help the Straw Hats escape.
On Orlumbus’ flagship Yonta, Maria, Cavendish, Bartolomeo, Sai, Ideo, Leo, Hajrudin, and Orlumbus ask Luffy to serve them and their crews under his command.
Luffy is sent flying across the coast of Dressrosa by Admiral Fujitora’s gravity wave and is grabbed by Hajrudin on Cavendish’s orders. Cavendish orders Hajrudin to take Luffy to the port, and Luffy unsuccessfully tries to escape the giant’s grip and return to the battle. Zoro prepares to take his turn to fight Fujitora, but Bartolomeo stops him, saying they have another deal. The strawmen, samurai, and gladiators of the Corrida Colosseum rush to the shore, and Usopp wonders how they managed to dock all their ships there. Orlumbus tells him that his Nita Maria ships are all lined up in single file and holding a makeshift dock leading to the rest of their ships in a misty area five kilometers away. As the criminals run into the makeshift dock, Luffy tries to escape from Hajrudin’s grasp again, but the giant holds him down, saying they have work to do.
Fujitora stands by the eastern port, intent on preventing the criminals from escaping. It moves a large mass of debris floating in the sky above Nita Maria, shocking the people below. The people on Dressrose are also scared, and Fujitora begins to think, knowing that the Straw Hats and their allies will perish soon. However, even if they somehow managed to escape, they would be targeted by the four emperors, so they would go through hell anyway. Fujitora notices Luffy’s compassion for his blindness, but reveals that he became blind because he saw many things he didn’t want to. Usopp worries about the looming wreckage as the criminals run faster, and Fujitora scatters the wreckage so that it spreads across the entire line of ships. Fujitora begins dropping debris when a horde of citizens suddenly approaches him.
Fujitora tries to stop them, but they run past him, shouting their intentions to get Rebecca back and destroy the criminals themselves. The citizens run to the shore when the criminals notice that the debris is not going down, and Luffy stands on Hajrudin’s shoulder after convincing him that he won’t be coming back. Luffy sees the citizens following him and wonders what they are doing. As the citizens run past Fujitora, they hear one of them asking why they are doing this since Rebecca was really with Kyros. Another citizen replies that they knew, as well as who the fairies really were. As such, the citizens merely put on a facade, shout threats with smiles on their faces, and stop at the edge of the coast to cheer on the Straw Hats. Thinking that everyone really wants to help Luffy, Fujitora starts to wonder what Luffy looks like as he regrets blinding himself. At the Bastille Marine Camp, he hears about the citizens in the harbor and wonders what Fujitora is doing.
The Straw Hats are amazed when they arrive at Yonta Maria’s huge flagship, and Bartolomeo promises to show them his ship later. Hajrudin reveals that he and four other giants are going to reform the Giant Warrior Pirates, and Orlumbus says that his fleet of 56 ships should help them as well, confusing the Straw Hats. Leo says that he and the Tonta Corps have been given permission to help as well, Ideo reveals that he has formed an alliance with Blue Gilly, Abdullah and Jeet, and Suleiman reveals that he has joined Cavendish. Luffy is confused by the sudden onslaught of news and they reveal that they had been planning this while staying in the palace for two days. Bartolomeo then steps forward and asks Luffy to allow the seven crew present to serve under him as parent and child.
