Summary:
Sanji receives a wedding cake on the ship Nostra Castello, which runs over the furnace as the Fire Tank Pirates and Sanji’s group escape to sea. However, Oven attacks the ship by boiling the ocean, but Pound intervenes and attacks him. Pound sees Chiffon and Pez and is happy that his daughter and grandson are happy. He is congratulating Chiffon on her marriage when Oven takes him out with a naginata.
Meanwhile, Luffy returns to the Mirror World after regaining his Haki and continues to fight Katakuri. At sea, the Sunny crew is surrounded by Big Mom and her fleet.
Katakuri continues to stand alone in the Mirror World, noting that ten minutes have passed since Luffy left. He begins to expect that Luffy won’t return, but to his surprise, he sees the pirate approaching him. Activating his Busoshoku Haki, Luffy lunges at Katakuri and attacks him again. The beginning of the battle is the same as before, Luffy is unable to hit Katakuri and is punished for it. Katakuri asks Luffy why he didn’t run away, saying that there’s no shame in running away from him, but Luffy’s fighting spirit doesn’t waver.
Meanwhile, Nostra Castello continues to drive through Cacao Island. Sanji successfully gets the wedding cake ingredients onto the ship and Bege frees the seal pulling the cart before he, Pez and his crew reunite with Chiffon. Trouba stands in the way of Nostra Castello and intends to return to Bege to stop it, but is easily run over by him. Pez then perks up when he notices his grandfather Pound waving at him and Chiffon from nearby, and Pound is happy to see his daughter and grandson, though Chiffon doesn’t know who they are. Bege decides to cut through Chocolat Town to leave the island from the southeast coast, and Pudding allows him to do so, saying that the chocolate houses he destroys can be rebuilt. Nostra Castello rolls through town and the Fire Tank Pirates engage in a shootout with the Big Mom Pirates. The Big Mom Pirates are prevented from using heavy artillery to protect the wedding cake, and the Nostra Castello returns to the ocean and sails to the Thousand Sunny.
Sanji thanks Bege for saving them, but Bege replies that he had no intention of saving him. The pirates and cooks then notice that the temperature is rising as the ocean begins to boil and the fish begin to die. They look over to Cocoa Island and see Oven heating the water with his devil fruit, and they all worry as the temperature rise threatens to destroy the cake’s ingredients. The boiling ocean also damages the ship and prevents it from rolling. However, Pound then rushes in and hits Owen in the head with a club. The blow only angers Owen, but causes him to pull his body out of the water as he angrily turns to confront his former stepfather. As Pound tries to reason with Owen, he sees Chiffon and Pez again, who are happy with their new family in the Fire Tank Pirates. Pound regrets not being able to be a part of Chiffon’s life as he remembers 26 years ago when Big Mom exiled him right after she and Lola were born and wouldn’t even let him hold them. He hopes that Chiffon didn’t have a hard life because he wasn’t aware of how Big Mom abused her because of her resemblance to Lola. He then yells at Chiffon to congratulate her on her marriage, just as Oven hits him from behind with a flaming blade, and Pez begins to cry as Chiffon wonders what the yelling was about.
Meanwhile, the crew of the Sunny find themselves pursued not only by a fleet led by Charlotte Bavarois, but also by Big Mom herself. The fleet fires cannonballs at the Sunny, but Big Mom’s insanity easily confuses them and the Straw Hats redirect them away from the ship. Bavarois is frustrated when Sunny continues to outrun his fleet thanks to Jinbe, but Big Mom’s Pirates are then happy when another fleet emerges to Sunny from the front, surrounding the Straw Hats.
