Summary:
At the Water 7 center, Sanji and Chopper are still recovering from what just happened with Robin. Chopper says he lost her scent and Sanji tells him to meet with Luffy and the others and explain what happened to Robin. Sanji then says that he has a plan and will meet up with Chopper and the others later.
In the city, Zoro, Luffy and Nami are seen running away from a group of angry boatmen. Nami yells at Zoro for leading the angry mob down, but Zoro replies that the whole town would have found them anyway. Luffy, Nami and Zoro head down the alley and manage to hide from the boatmen. The boatmen start looking around trying to find the Straw Hat Pirates and Luffy is seen hiding the others under the bridge. The boatmen decide to split up and everyone leaves. Struggling to hang on, Luffy is scared into the water by Chopper, who found them because of their scent. At a lumber and hardware store, Usopp is seen begging a man to sell him lumber and equipment. However, the man does not want to sell him anything because he is already closing the shop and Aqua Laguna is coming. Usopp continues to beg and even holds some money and the man finally relents. Usopp tries to take the things back to the Going Merry, and the sorry man gives Usopp some rice balls to keep his strength up. Usopp happily takes the rice balls and heads back to the Going Merry. Looking out to sea, Usopp notices the waves starting to rise and begins to repair the Going Merry.
At Blueno’s Bar, Franky is seen making a scene. Kokoro, Chimney, Gonbe, Blueno and Mozu and Kiwi all want to know why Franky is so upset. Franky says he’s still angry about what Luffy did to him and how the Galley-La Company stopped him and he storms out of the bar. Back in the city, on the rooftops, Luffy and the others rest just after escaping the angry mob. Luffy asks Chopper where Sanji is and Chopper decides to tell everyone what Sanji wanted to tell them. Luffy is shocked to hear this and Zoro comments on how Robin was their enemy before she joined their crew. Zoro says it’s the only way to find out the truth about Robin and they shouldn’t run. After learning more from Chopper, Zoro says that the assassination attempt on the Iceburg was just a warm-up and marvels at the attention he got. Nami summarizes that Robin plans to assassinate Iceburg tonight, and Zoro says that Robin told Chopper what she plans to do to get the rest of the crew framed for the murder. Nami yells at Zoro that he already said that Robin is the enemy, but Zoro says that he’s just considering the options, saying that if she’s his girlfriend, he has to be ready to forgive, but if she’s his enemy, he has to be ready to. combat. Zoro then says that the best chance to settle this is at night and Luffy and the others agree to go. In another area, Franky screams and demands to know where Luffy is. However, he gets no answer but soon runs into Zambai and the rest of the Franky Family. Zambai wonders if Franky took down the Straw Hat Pirates, but Franky says that he escaped because of Galley-La’s intervention. Zambai then says that he saw a “weak one with a pointy nose” repairing the ship (Usopp) and Franky gets an idea. Franky says he will capture Usopp and use him as bait to draw Luffy into the fight. Franky then tells the rest of the Franky Family to let them know that he captured Usopp and tells him to meet at the warehouse under the bridge.
In the hideout, the citizens of Water 7 are preparing for Aqua Laguna’s arrival, while the others are still worried that the Straw Hats haven’t been caught yet. People think that the Straw Hats have over a hundred members trying to walk the Iceburg, but right outside the Galley-La Company, a whole crowd of boatmen can be seen guarding the main entrance. Inside, Paulie along with Kaku, Peepley Lulu, Tilestone and Rob Lucci and Hattori are seen guarding the door leading to Iceburg’s room. Tilestone annoys Lucci and Hattori with his loud voice, while Peepley Lulu and Kaku know that Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats are still in town. Paulie broke in about Luffy earlier, and in Iceburg’s room, Iceburg and Kalifa talk about Robin. Caliph is concerned that Iceburg has a poster of Robin on his wall, but Iceburg replies that he is a “demon”.
